Fragaria vesca 'Sempervirens'

Heirloom fruit is produced from June till October! My granddaughter's favorite strawberry…what it lacks in berry size it makes up for in flavor and production! Small red or white fruits with a delicate sweet flavor, sometimes with pineapple notes! 4-8" tall and 12" wide, no runners…often reseeds if happy. Enjoys a lightly shaded location in acidic soil with frequent water and bears the same year it is planted. Caution, this may become your favorite strawberry! Also performs in pots.
