Iris japonica 'Variegata'

(VARIEGATED JAPANESE IRIS) Beautiful, smallish Iris for your 12-18” tall fans of curved evergreen leaves striped with cream in stoloniferous clumps. Flat, upward facing orchid like white flowers edged with ruffled lacy edges, outlined in purple and accented with yellow gold, May > June (shy bloomer but foliage alone makes it worthy!). Prefers partly shaded woodland sites in moist soils.
