Canna 'Cleopatra'

(Aka Schizophrenic Canna Lily)  This crazy chimera can’t decide whether it wants green or purple leaves…or red or yellow flowers!  So it throws out combinations of both… Worth growing for the purple and green foliage alone, the summer flowers are bright and tropical.  Stems with bold foliage to 4’.  Flowers summer thru fall. Full sun, good drainage, plenty of moisture, also enjoys a bump of nitro occasionally for best vigor.  Will take summer wet, but winter wet can rot the bulbs.
